A LEWB education cultivates a lifetime love of learning in students, making them more prepared for life. Additionally, the LEWB curriculum is tailored to the client's requirements. The following skills are learned by LEWB students to excel in school, university, and the workplace:
  • Make meaning.
Communication relies heavily on meaning. At LEWB, we improve a learner's ability to perceive, produce, and negotiate meaning in a variety of contexts by employing appropriate communication techniques and abilities in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These techniques and skills are acquired and perfected via ongoing exposure to a variety of settings that allow language users to interact in a variety of ways.
  • Think and express thoughts and emotions logically, critically, and creatively.
The learner's awareness of how language may be utilised as a powerful tool to reflect, shape, and influence people's views, behaviours, and relationships is enhanced. The sensitivity and complexity of a multilingual situation necessitates the development of a learner's ability to interpret and deliberately reflect on language usage. As a result, emphasis is placed on the development of decoding abilities (speaking, writing, and listening).

  • Respond with empathy to the thoughts and emotions of others.
Learners will be able to discern other people's emotions as well as imagine what someone else is thinking or experiencing and communicate it clearly in English.
  • Interact and participate socially, politically, economically, culturally, and spiritually.

Through public speaking and presentation skills, the learner's self-confidence will increase.

  • Understand the relationship between language and power, and influence relationships through that understanding.

By using prearranged terminology and phrases, power communicates with the public through official messaging and establishes the tone for interpersonal encounters. Learners will be able to interpret the meaning and confidently persuade others, particularly in the context of decision-making.

  • Develop and reflect critically on values and attitudes.

Students will develop and excel in reflection writing. They will be able to reflect and narrate their experiences at school, university, or in the workplace. As a result, students will gain the ability to think creatively, analyse information, and openly express their viewpoints

  • Communicate in different contexts by using a range of registers and language varieties.

There are various types of contexts in communication. These elements determine how communication occurs, how communicators react, and how messages are transmitted and received. Students will master grammar, which will lead to great communication abilities.

  • Use standard forms of language where appropriate.

Learners will gain the ability to employ several forms of English (Business, Academic, and Conversational) appropriately based on the setting.

  • Respond to the aesthetic, affective, cultural, and social values in texts.

The learner's understanding of, ability to use, and ability to produce text as an aesthetic expression of ideas, emotions, attitudes, and values through exposure to a wide range of genres will increase.

  • Use information from a variety of sources and situations.
Students will be able to find, evaluate, and use academic information to fully participate in contemporary society. The achievement of high-quality lifelong learning requires the development of cognitive skills.
  • Know and apply language structures and conventions in context.
The learner’s comprehension and knowledge of grammar will be sharpened. The acquisition of this grammatical competence enables the student to effectively use grammatical structures, such as word order, in communication. The improvement of editing abilities, which include a conscious awareness of one's own language usage, will help learners communicate more clearly.
  • Use language for learning.
The learner's capacity to use language as a learning tool across all subject areas will be strengthened. As the learner interacts with new information, materials, peers, facilitators, and other people, learning is mediated through language. The intrinsic worth of language is fostered across the curriculum as a tool for problem-solving, decision-making, and creative, critical, and evaluative thinking.
  • Use appropriate communication strategies for specific purposes and situations.

The learner's capacity to effectively apply communication techniques and tactics to a given situation and purpose is enhanced.
