Poetry: Her Invisible Stalker

An image of Satan.

An immortal presence lingers;
leviathan hisses fire
whispers in My mind,
a hazy hypnotic melody.
He creeps in silence, that shrewd serpent of old!
Invisible hands; lucent eyes,
symphonic lasciviousness.

PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS!;
“I AM” has decreed.

he invades Her personal space,
his eyes unseen by mortals, but ever-present to Her
searching for ways to terrorise Her;
Your majesty.

Blonde hair, blue eyes
wearing your lecherous, lingering smirk
watching Me,
I - WATCH - YOU.

Covetousness; his confidant,
counsels his wicked heart!
Yet despite all his efforts; his fate is sealed,
a puppeteer of bitter-envy
using witchery to deceive Her
he foolishly slurps defeat like a labyrinth of disgrace.

I’m no ordinary human,
sure, I blend in with the crowd—
I came from the ends of the earth;
and my time is almost up.

The messengers tirelessly relinquish;
the dragon’s diablerie tongue
with every breath, he exhales death;
destruction directs his quest.
